• Weltweit ist die Digitalisierung sowie damit verbundene Chancen ein Thema. Vorwiegend in Deutschland finden jedoch immer noch verhältnismäßig wenige Firmen den Mut, den für das eigene Unternehmen richtigen Weg zur digitalen Transformation zielstrebig anzugehen und sicher zu meistern. Ein Grund für die zögerliche Haltung kann daran ausgemacht werden, dass zu viele unbeantwortete Fragen und unabschätzbare wirtschaftliche Risiken ein Hindernis darstellen. Systemmodelle bieten eine gute Möglichkeit Transparenz zu schaffen und Fragen zu betrachteten Systemen zu beantworten. In dieser Masterarbeit wird anhand eines Fallbeispiels ein Weg aufgezeigt, wie diese Fragen ausschließlich mittels Methoden des „Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)“ beantwortet und damit Entscheidungsgrundlagen erarbeitet werden können. Dies beinhaltet insbesondere Vorschläge zur Analyse von Informationen beziehungsweise Daten direkt in einem Systemmodell. Im Kontext der „Industrie 4.0“ und der „Data Analytics“, bei denen es darauf ankommt, dass Informationspfade korrekt miteinander verknüpft sind, wird zugleich evaluiert, wie sich dessen Inhalte und Prinzipien auf Methoden des MBSE auswirken.
• Worldwide people talk about digitalization and the related chances. Especially in Germany, still only a few entrepreneurs, comparatively to the rest of the world, do have the courage to tackle and master their own path to the digital transformation. In addition to various reasons, the hesitancy can be attributed to the fact, that too many unanswered questions and incalculable economic risks are an obstacle. Since system models provide a good opportunity to create transparency and to answer questions about a system, this master thesis presents a way of answering these questions and draws up decision bases, exclusively by using the methods of „Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)“. In particular, this includes suggestions for direct analysis of information inside of a system model. In the context of the industrial digitization „Industry 4.0“ and „Data Analytics“, where it is important, that all information paths are correctly linked, it will also be evaluated, how its contents and principles will affect the methods of MBSE.
